The Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 18 and the Carman Legion Ladies Auxiliary each donated $5,000 to the new Boyne Care Personal Care Home Project. The Legion's fundraising efforts for the project included a Sisters of the Holy Rock concert and Liverfest, which enabled both groups to top up the proceeds to reach a total of $10,000.
Pictured (from left to right) are Carman Legion Branch President Kyrke Nussey, Branch 1st Vice-President Karen Maxwell and Ladies Auxiliary President Val Lemon presenting the cheque to Boyne Care representative Les Vanderveen.
